By day (and unfortunately sometimes by night), I’m an anesthesiologist. When I’m not sticking needles and tubes in folks, I love discovering new and old music. I wanted to be a musician when I was young. Turns out the medical school route was the better fit for me in light of my total lack of natural talent.
I’ve been collecting and crafting playlists since I first starting using iTunes around 2002. I still have my first gen iPod as a keepsake. I amassed over 15,000 songs in my iTunes library over the last decade before I discovered the amazing world of streaming music in 2013. Streaming gives me access to almost all the world’s music. This has caused a problem for me because my “New Music To Try” playlist often gets completely unrealistic with over 1,000 tracks! Another great feature of streaming services is that I can share my playlists with friends. I intend to use this blog to share my playlists. I hope you find something you love here!
